Kepuhi Beach Resort Rules Enforcement
Basic Principles:
- Rules enforcement is complaint driven meaning a complaint should precede enforcement action.
- Enforcement action will be taken when violation is of sufficient nature to disturb the enjoyment of AOAO facilities by owners or guests.
Reporting violations:
Step 1) Identify that a violation has actually occurred. Do not report or take action on “suspicion of violation”.
Step 2) If violation is of a significant nature and likely to disturb the enjoyment of our facilities by owners or guests, report the specifics to security during security hours or to the AOAO manager during managers work hours. If violation occurs outside of security or manager hours politely remind the offending party of the Rules and ask them to comply. Do not pursue any action beyond one polite request. Report violations to security at next opportunity.
Step 3) If someone repeatedly, or over an extended period of time, violates the Rules a written complaint should be sent to the AOAO Board of Directors by the complaining owner.
Responding to violations:
- Upon receiving report of violation, security or AOAO manager will contact the offending party and remind them of the Rules and politely request compliance.
- If compliance is not achieved, security or AOAO manager shall contact the rental manager, unit owner, or other authority and request assistance in seeking compliance.
- If compliance cannot be achieved via above action, security or AOAO manager must file a complaint with the AOAO Board of Directors who shall send written notice or phone the owner of the unit in which violators are staying.
- The AOAO Board of Directors will take all reasonable action to enforce the rules, up to and including levy of fines.
Please remember to spread the "Aloha Spirit!"
